Team & Board
Partners Through Education is proud to be an organization founded and primarily run by students for students. Our team consists of volunteers dedicated to our mission of reforming education and bringing opportunities to underprivileged and underserved communities.
Amir Mohiuddin, Founder & Chief Operations Officer
At first glance, Amir has the mysterious and quiet vibe about him, but once you get to know him, he’s one of the warmest and welcoming faces you can talk to. When he’s not in the gym, he’s hitting the books, because the road to being a doctor isn’t easy, especially trying to do it with a Molecular and Cellular Biology Degree. Amir always wants to help people, in his downtime from his pre-med life, Amir works hard to keep PTE running as well as writing and editing his new book “Breaking Through.”
Adam Mohiuddin, Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Adam is a 17-year-old from Agoura Hills, CA. He founded Partners Through Education in 2016 because he believes fervently in justice for all. He has since been recognized as a Carson and Yale Scholar. Adam has also had the honor of being recognized by the President of the United States as the first Presidential Volunteer Record recipient. He also keeps himself busy with running his company (Experience Consulting), leading at school, volunteering in his community, and engaging politically. Adam additionally spends his time mentoring students in STEM and publishing a multitude of papers with organizations like NASA and the US Army. He can also be quite outrageous, and you can usually find him laughing at his own jokes when he’s not writing and editing PTE’s new book, “Breaking Through.”
Chris Pyles, Chief Technical Officer
Chris Pyles is currently in his third year at UC Berkeley, pursuing a Data Science degree with a focus in Business. Chris is an Eagle Scout with an astute love for data and science, the niche that falls between a love of mathematics and interest in computing. While pursuing his own academic interests, Chris spends his free time helping PTE as a whole and firmly believes in educational support for students in need.
Henry Mead, Chief Financial Officer
Henry Mead is currently a senior in high school with plans on pursuing a major in Political Science at university. Coming from the inner city of Chicago, Henry knows how hard it is for lower socioeconomic class students to receive financial support for education, which is why he continues to spearhead fundraisers and administer finances for PTE. Recently, Henry has helped brothers Adam and Amir allocate funding for their new book titled “Breaking Through.”
